Work Practices (ASAB 1000)

In this course, apprentices form a basic understanding of safe working practices within an automotive shop according to accepted industry standards. Apprentices install fasteners, seals, and sealants, perform precision measurements using applicable trade instruments, and demonstrate the safe use of equipment to perform heating, cutting, hoisting and lifting of vehicles. In addition, apprentices are required to perform necessary trade-related computer functions.
