Canadian Electrical Code (ELAB 1000)

In this course, apprentices investigate the Canadian Electrical Code - Part 1 (CEC) to identify and interpret the installation requirements for electrical equipment (other than heating) used in residential occupancies. Apprentices also practice calculating the service requirements for various electrical installations used in residential occupancies such as single-dwelling units and row-housing. Apprentices follow the Ontario College of Trades curriculum for the trade of Electrician: Construction and Maintenance.
