Performance Management (ODE) (HURM 3006)

Students develop a proficient understanding of performance management, performance appraisal and assessment, and the role of management and the organization in the performance approval process. The linkage to and impact of performance management on other areas of human resources will be examined. Students will be introduced to research and investigation techniques as they pertain to the measurement and determination of appropriate workforce behavior, including performance improvement, progressive discipline and the termination of employment.
