Gender and Women’s Studies: Contemporary Issues (INTS 2006)

Students in this course use an interdisciplinary approach to explore feminist concepts, perspectives, and theories in relation to contemporary issues women face in Canada and abroad. Focusing on historical and contemporary events in Canada, students critically examine how women's unique experiences of social inequality and privilege interconnect with their lived experiences of gender, race, class, ability, and sexuality.
