Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics (KBDE 1008)
Students develop an understanding of the design and evaluation of new and existing building systems: heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), hydraulic, and electrical requirements. Applicable regulatory codes are examined for the design of plumbing, power, and lighting components. The coordination of the trades in relation to industry practices, specification standards, installation methods, and project management is explored comprehensively.
