STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft-Partial Online (MARI 0250)
This blended online theory with onsite practical course is a requirement for seafarers under the Standards of Training, Certification of Watchkeepers (STCW) convention of the International Maritime Organization. In the event that an emergency at sea requires a seafarer to abandon ship, this course prepares a student for the proficient use of lifeboats and life rafts. Further topics included in this course include rescue by helicopter and the use of signaling apparatus. Prerequisites: Minimum 16 years of age, Marine Medical Fitness Report
