Strength of Materials (MENG 2007)
In this course, students are introduced to the internal stresses and strains developed in engineering materials when externally loaded. Stresses, and resultant strains, studied include axial stress, shear stress, bending stress, and torsion. Bearing stress and stresses on oblique planes are also covered.
