Plumbing Practical 2 (PLMB 1004)

In this course, students assemble quality joints as required for shop projects. Joint arrangement and preparation are coordinated and constructed. Soldering copper processes using variable soft solders are demonstrated and practiced. Applying theoretical learning from other courses, students calculate for offsets of varying degrees to prepare and assemble projects. In-service processes and trouble shooting skills are demonstrated on kitchen sinks and lavatory modules either alone or with a partner.
