Qualitative Research (RAPP 1005)
In this course, students focus on non-empirical methods of data gathering and on descriptive and explanatory levels of data analysis. The data gathering techniques to be studied include in-depth interviews, focus groups, case studies, field observations, literature reviews and historical research methods. Students apply these qualitative methods by means of case studies, field experiences and class research projects.
