Critical Care Nursing Clinical Placement (RNRS 1076)
Students are provided with the opportunity to apply essential theoretical knowledge and nursing skills to the care of individuals and their families in critical care settings. Students collaborate with members of the inter-professional health care team. Students utilize best practice guidelines, reflective practice and evidence-based research to inform and adapt their practice. Students are expected to practice in accordance with the Standards of Care set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the standards for critical care in Ontario.
