Civil / Construction Surveying (SURV 1001)

Students are introduced to plane surveying as related to the construction industry. Students obtain field skills in linear measurement and the operation of levels, transits, theodolites and total stations. Elevations, horizontal, vertical, and spiral curves are explored. This is a hands on laboratory course that develops students’ field note skills.
